a contemporary
rewriting of
[Don Quixote]

In modern thought, humans are typically regarded as the subject, while artifacts are considered objects or tools. This relationship constitutes a typical anthropocentric framework, in which humans create artifacts and use them to achieve their own goals.

However, research in the sociology of technology suggests that artifacts are not merely neutral tools; they can also organize and discipline human behaviour. In this sense, artifacts can become instruments of control embedded within social systems (Winner, 1980; Latour, 1992).

how humans respond when they become aware that their actions and choices are being shaped by artifacts?
